Plain English first: we collect your email to send you the training plan or guide you asked for, plus a follow-up sequence to help you get the most from it. We don't sell your data. You can unsubscribe any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email.
1. Who We Are
PaceChange ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based digital training product business run by Harrison Kembrey. Our website is pacechange.co.uk. For privacy enquiries, contact us at hkembrey@outlook.com.
2. What Data We Collect
When you submit the calculator form on our website, we collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
- Your stated running goal (e.g. 5K, marathon, weight loss)
- The page you submitted the form from (internal reference only)
When you purchase a product through Gumroad, Gumroad collects your payment and billing details. We receive only your email address and the product you purchased. See Gumroad's privacy policy at gumroad.com/privacy.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts on this website. No data is collected unless you actively submit a form.
3. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)
We collect and process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (to deliver the service you requested) and your implied consent when submitting the form. The form clearly states you will receive a training plan and follow-up emails.
4. What We Do With Your Data
- Send you the free training plan or guide you requested
- Send a follow-up email sequence (4 emails for running, 6 emails for weight loss) with training advice and product recommendations
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
- We do not use your data for advertising targeting
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
Subscriber data is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to PaceChange. Emails are sent via Google Gmail (Google Workspace). Google's data processing is governed by their privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement. Google servers may be located in the EU and USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your email address and name for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your record is marked as unsubscribed and no further emails are sent. We review and purge inactive records periodically. You may request complete deletion at any time by emailing hkembrey@outlook.com.
7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have mishandled your data.
8. Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will immediately remove you from all future emails. You can also unsubscribe by emailing hkembrey@outlook.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
